CACD Traditional Cape Verdean Dance History Program

Traditional Cape Verdean Dance Classes at CACD

CACD, through funding from the RI Council for the Humanities, has been offering free dance history classes open to all from communities across Rhode Island.

THE GOAL: to connect communities across RI to the wonders of Kultura Kabuverdianu, while shedding light and keeping Cape Verdean history and culture alive through the movement, sound, and knowledge of traditional Cape Verdean dance! Join us in the effort to do all of the above and more.

This project will conclude at the end of this calendar year.

This program is FREE and open to all ages 12 and up. To register online, click the registration button below. Walk-in registration on the day of class is permitted while slots are still available.
