Join CACD and learn the Cape Verdean Language! This 10 week virtual course will cover the fundamentals of the Cape Verdean “Kriolu” language in all its forms and dialects, the history + culture and the local and trends and values. This course will be taught by a licensed linguistic instructor who is a native and current resident of the Cape Verde islands. The Winter 2023 session will feature three classes: New Beginner, Beginner Continued, and Intermediate/Advanced level class. Each class is one hour long and will be held online via Zoom once per week. Registration is first come, first serve. Classes start the week of February 20th. Learn the Cape Verdean language, sign up today!- Each student is responsible for a $100 non-refundable registration fee for classes that run weekly for 10 weeks. Classes will be held on Zoom.com. Each student is responsible for creating their own Zoom account and for any necessary academic materials.

Adelaide is a licensed linguistic, serving as a Professor in Portuguese and the Cape Verdean Language. Adelaide is also the author of book “Kabuverdianu a Language Guide for Learners” Adelaide is a skilled and experienced Professor, instructing courses in the Cape Verde Islands, Portugal and USA (virtually).
